Birds of New Zealand
The photographs in this collection were taken in November 1996 in both North and South Island, New Zealand. On such a short trip it is impossible to do justice to such a beautiful and diverse country. However, I hope that this collection will give a taste of the bird-life of New Zealand. All birds featured are wild. For this calendar I included an extra month - for the next year.
These images have been recovered from an old archive. Although the images have since been rescanned with more up-to-date equipment I have not updated the content here. There is an error in the description of the Gannet - it is featured in January 1997 and 1998 (not 1987 and 1988), obviously!
