Birds of Southern Vancouver Island
It’s been over two years since my move to Victoria and many of the local birds here are familiar from my previous existence in the Lower Mainland, but not all. So this year I have tried to include as many new species as possible – new for my calendars, that is. This does mean that some favourites (such as owls) are absent.
